Jonty joined Steinfeld Law in September 2018 as a trainee, qualifying as a solicitor in 2020 and becoming a partner in 2025. While he advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, he has also developed a strong real estate practice and now leads the firm’s commercial and residential conveyancing division.

After graduating from King’s College London, Jonty followed his passion for food and hospitality, working under the guidance of the acclaimed Corbin & King. Having grown up in a family of distinguished lawyers, however, a career in law was always close at hand. Deciding upon his career change, he attended The University of Law where he achieved distinctions in both his Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Since joining the firm, Jonty has gained broad experience across the corporate sphere, advising on multimillion-pound M&A deals, high-profile private equity investments and complex debt financing transactions. Today, his practice focuses on helping businesses navigate day-to-day commercial matters alongside his conveyancing work. Clients value his responsiveness, commercial pragmatism and no-nonsense style. Outside of work, Jonty is a keen cook and can often be found experimenting in the kitchen, out on the golf course, or cheering on his beloved (if often disappointing) Queens Park Rangers.
